Sharon Stone Sitting Pretty Without Varicose Veins!

Tuesday Trix

Wrinkle Reality! You actually CAN create wrinkles by not sleeping on your back and forgetting to wear sunglasses. Sleep lines are a reality that can turn into deep set wrinkles over time. Additionally, when you fail to wear sunglasses you'll naturally squint causing a consistent increase in facial lines around your eye area.

Wednesday Nix

Aggravating Acne! Many myths surround getting rid of and preventing breakouts. Please don't lay in the sun thinking this will help clear up skin, when it can actually make you break out even more! Additionally, washing excessively (more than twice daily) can cause worse irritation and using too harsh of ingredients will not only damage the surface of your skin, but can actually cause it to over produce oil taking longer to heal blemishes!

Thursday 4Kix

Makeup Myths! Contrary to what's been said, matching shades won't help eyes pop as strikingly as contrasting colors. Green/hazel eyes are  simply gorgeous in plums, while blue eyes benefit beautifully from rich chocolates hues and browns are often prettiest in baby pink shades! A makeup myth that is true? Dark polish colors can actually cause nails to discolor yellow temporarily unless you protect them with an undercoat base first!

We KNEW Sandra Bullock Would Get the Gold! She looked stunning taking home Oscar (more on that look next week!) and  lovely in a black Alexander McQueen dress with a cherry blossom print paired nicely with Sergio Rossi plumps and a cobalt VBH clutch!  You can interpret this look into your day-to-day wardrobe with the Purp7e Cherry Blossom Cardigan available right now on Badjoan.com!  This cardigan features a cherry blossom print silk screened across the back and comes with a separate belt to tie it closed.

Weekender Six

Chocolate Escape! Despite what you've heard, chocolate is not bad for your skin! Its essential ingredient cocoa butter (try 100% Pure) is moisture-rich and helps soothe dry skin when applied topically. In fact, studies prove that eating dark chocolate is even better (Lindt's our fav!), as it's loaded with antioxiants that fight free-radical skin damage!
