Butt What? The only thing worse than getting pimples is getting them in very uncomfortable places like your derriere! Most issue's can be cleared up quickly by using a body wash that includes salicylic acid (we love Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit!). That said, if the issue persists consider using applying a sulfur mask (DDF's is an acne wonder!) which get's deep into the skin and can flush out even cystic acne.

Hair There? Unfortunately some of us out there get hairs in very strange places including growing on warts and nipples! Because these areas can be highly sensitive, Dermatologists recommend trimming first with nail scissors then plucking for the best results with limited irritation. We love this little Japonesque Set that includes everything you'll need!

Lovely Lip Sores!  There is nothing fun about a cold sore (aka fever blister) especially since they seem to always arrive prior to some important event that you just can't miss!! To help speed up the healing apply petroleum jelly as soon as possible. Since the ingredients in concealers and foundations can irritate sores further we don't recommend using them to hide blisters. A safer option is wearing lipsticks with SPF which will protect your sore and cover a portion with color. Just make sure to select colors that make your lip shape the focus and stay away from colors or anything too glossy that can highlight your blister!

Salon Safety! It's important when getting a mani or a pedi at a new location (or even your current one) that you take a look at your surroundings and how tools are sterilize. Common sense says if things generally don't look that clean, it's not enough of top priority and the team could be cutting corners. Keep in mind that these services should ever painful and if you bleed it's a sign that your salon professional needs more training!
