What inspired BadJoan.com?
I, myself, was an up and coming indie designer and constantly running into the problem of having overstock and no where to sell it.  I also had a few designer friends that had the same problem so I started to put together sample sales around LA. It worked so well that I decided to put it online so that people outside LA could also get these amazing clothes at amazing prices.

What's a useful designer tip?
I always like pieces that can be worn more than one way.  Like a mini dress that can be worn as a dress, long top or belted for a shortened top.  That way you get to be creative and get so much more for your money!
