The star*assist question was:

"Hi.  Still getting breakouts at 42.  Got any suggestions for breakouts on the forehead?"

If you're still getting break-outs, the most common reason is the products you're using on your face are not doing a good job of keeping your pores clean of bacteria. This is a good indication that you probably need to change your cleansing routine. You might be using something that's to harsh and stripping away all your skins' natural oils so you're breaking out more or your moisturizer might be too rich clogging pores on your forehead. Additionally, hormones play a big factor in skin issues especially past the age of 30. You can't change your hormones, but having a good routine can control breakouts that are cause by hormonal changes in your body. Below are some suggestions of products we highly recommend and the reasons we think they might work for you.

To help keep your skin clear we suggest the following items:
1. A gentle exfoliating cleanser which you use 2 to 3 times a week.
2. Washing your face with a cleanser that has a toner in it to keep it PH balanced and unclogged.
3. Moisturizing with a face cream that contains Retinol or Glycolic AHA which helps keep skin clear, hydrated and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
